SRT ARMORER and AR builders CLASSES

The Armorer / Builders class is evolving from strictly a "Armorer" class to also include a "Builders" class. Please read the section applicable to your needs!

Class synopsis!

Before I go into great detail about the classes, here's a few points to consider!

• I believe training and education are KEY to be successful and competent.

• There are hundreds of weapons training classes that teach HOW to use the weapons. Many are great trainings and cost you both valuable TIME and MONEY! 

• Unlike the weapons trainings available, there are VERY few Armorer classes that instruct HOW and WHY the weapon functions. Also most Armorer classes are only available to Military and Law Enforcement personnel, specifically from the AR platform Manufacturers!

Where does that leave the average person? The options are very limited. 

I see this as absolutely necessary to get solid education and instruction to anyone that has or will have an AR rifle! 

My goal is to educate and train individuals here locally in Arizona! 

(I'm not opposed to having students from other states attend classes, I welcome them as well. The logistics of out of state students is being addressed currently!)

As a CERTIFIED AND DOCUMENTED MASTER LEVEL ARMORER for:

COLT, FN, SIG SAUER AR15 / M4 / M16 Weapons systems 

My intention is to Name, Explain and Demonstrate to each student:

• A brief history / background of the AR platform
• The nomenclature of all the components.
• Complete disassembly / reassembly of the AR.
• Complete function of the AR platform.
• Cycle of operation
• Proper care / maintenance.
• Trouble shooting and repair
• And MUCH MORE

As I stated earlier education and training take both time and money.

SRT Armorer / Builders class Cost:

• $500.00 per student. 
• A $250.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required for registration.
• The balance of $250.00 is due 5 business days prior to the scheduled class date.
• Classes can be rescheduled, but the $250.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT will NOT be returned to the student.
• More details will be included in the registration email to the student.

SRT Armorer / Builders class time frame:

• A Friday or a Saturday date
• 0800 to 2000 hours, may run shorter or longer
• Test Firing will be discussed during class

I will take each student deep into the "Black-Hole" of information on the AR platform. The sheer amount of information can be over-whelming, but a binder will be provided to each student with serious amounts of information!

Each student will be very well educated with instruction and hands-on experience, and will be capable of addressing any issues with their rifle as well as any others.

The "Armorer" class, will revolve around the student's already existing assembled AR rifle.

The assembled rifle will be: 

• Completely disassembled, 
• Each component inspected for wear and damage.
• Any damaged components will be replaced.

After inspection, any necessary cleaning will be conducted.

All components will be gauged, measured and checked against the TDP.

• Any component not to spec will evaluated for proper function.
• Components not passing function will be replaced to ensure proper function and reliability.

All component measurements will be annotated for certification on Inspection sheets.

After all components are "certified", the student will reassemble their rifle using proper protocol and procedures.

The completed rifle will be function checked and verified by SRT.

• Test firing is available on request, addition time will be required.
• Ammunition will be available at the range for purchase.
• Magazines will need to be brought to the class or purchased separately.
• Student's magazines and ammunition are acceptable.
• ( Pmags Gen 2 or 3, Lancer, Okay Industries magazines preferred )
• ( M855 or M193 ammunition preferred, 20 rounds minimum )

The "BUILDERS" class will require additional steps prior to scheduled class date.

(SRT is able to order complete AR builders kits, detailed information will be provided on initial contact by student!!)

Students wishing to "build" their AR rifle from complete kits. 

• The entire kit will need to be dropped off or shipped to SRT a minimum of 14 days prior to the scheduled class date.
• SRT will conduct an inspection of all the components, and notify the student of any issues or missing components in the "kit" for correction.
• Shipping and receipt of corrected components may delay scheduled class date.

All components will be gauged, measured and checked against the TDP.

• Any component not to spec will evaluated for proper function.

All component measurements will be annotated for certification on Inspection sheets.

After all components are "certified", the student will assemble their rifle using proper protocol and procedures.

Any damaged, not to spec, or non serviceable parts will be replaced, at cost to the student, to ascertain the student's rifle will be assembled to specification and to be completely reliable and fully functional!

On completion of the class the student's rifle will be certified to TDP specifications!

Parts that will need to be replaced after disassembly.

Coffee, Water and Pepsi will be available during the instruction day.

Students may bring drinks and snacks, please no alcohol! 

Breaks will be taken as necessary.

Lunch will be provided (Menu will be in registration email)

Dinner provisions will be discussed as the day progresses.

PLEASE READ:

The education and training I will provide during the classes is for the individual student's benefit. 

The student will NOT be a "certified" armorer per say. 

However, they will be able to manipulate the AR platform rifle as necessary to either use, trouble-shoot, and address issues that may arise at any point.

The rifle itself will be "Certified" by passing all the necessary inspections and checks and will be annotated on the documents in the Class Binder each student will receive.
